At a time of apparent uncertainty for the markets, with Brexit looming and no certain pathway apparent, with politicians infighting and apparently incapable of focussing on the important matters at hand, and with growth diminishing when compared to other European countries, it is hardly surprising that commentators see no good reason to be optimistic about our economic prospects.
It is therefore fantastic to see these figures for investment in technology business in the North. The quantum of the investments is strong (4 times that of last year), but it is also the number of investments being made that is cause for optimism. Definitely something we should be shouting about.
The total value of growth investments into technology businesses across the North topped £200m in the third quarter of 2017 which is almost four times the amount recorded a year earlier
