Rumours have begun circulating that the FA will be asked to lift it's Saturday afternoon TV blackout rule to give Women's Super League the spotlight.

The rule was initially introduced to protect attendance numbers at professional games but as interest in the Women's game grows it has been suggested that broadcasting the games on TV during this "blackout period" could increase interest in the sport and therefore push up attendance numbers.

Recent matches both in England and abroad, particularly Spain, have been attracting record crowds to women's games but is the real secret to unlocking a bigger audience through broadcasting?
